  6. Nowadays, we see more and more virusses
  7. on  the Amiga.  From lame ones like SCA
  8. to the most sophisticated virusses ever
  9. made.  The size doesn't matter anymore,
  10. as  everybody  has a harddisk with lots
  11. of  megs.   Say honestly:  do you see a
  12. difference  of  60  Kbytes on your HD??
  13. NO!
  14. This  is just one of the things that is
  15. becoming  worse  everyday.  As longer a
  16. computer    exists,   we   see   people
  17. developing their programmingskills from
  18. basic  to  C or Assembler.  If everyone
  19. would    use    that    knowledge   for
  20. programming   games,   demos,  programs
  21. etc.,  there  was  nothing to be afraid
  22. of.   But,  there are some people (with
  23. THAT  knowledge!)  who  just DON'T know
  24. how  to spend their time, so they start
  25. programming  a 'little' virus.  No harm
  26. in the beginning, but when the virus is
  27. getting  spread,  it's  getting  spread
  28. FAST!   And  who suffers the most?  The
  29. normal    amiga-user.     And   thereby
  30. indirect the Amiga too!
  31. Don't  just  think (I'm speaking to the
  32. virus-programmers  now!!)  that you are
  33. good,   if  you  can  program  a  small
  34. shit-virus  that  destroys another ones
  35. data!   You  are  just a selfish little
  36. IDIOT!   I  blame  you,  yes  you,  for
  37. partly  destroying  the Amiga by wiping
  38. the base of it:  programs.  So bag off!
  39. Please  program  your  stuff,  whatever
  40. that  may be in the future, on a bloody
  41. pc!   The  exact  thing for people like
  42. you.   You  don't  need  a hyper-modern
  43. computer.  You're just lame !
  44. And now a good word to the professional
  45. Anti-Virus  programmers:   You keep the
  46. Amiga  clean.   By keeping it clean (as
  47. clean   as   possible,  that  is),  you
  48. deserve  attention.   It's small, but I
  49. hope  it  will  partly  support  you in
  50. bringing  out  better,  and more modern
  51. virus-programs   (note:    please  keep
  52. those  ones  Public Domain, as we can't
  53. do without them...).
